but now , as my nerves calm , it dawned upon me that ..getting placed is the first step towards responsibility ..
and soon a thought came to my mind ..that i'll miss these days , just like i miss my childhood ..
and i bet that if u were born in the 80s or 90s , ..these are the things that bring smile on our lips !!

thats not all ...
- how did we survive in those days ?? ..we had no seat-belts , no cars(middle class) , no airbags ...and we used crayons and water colours ...we didnot had anything called tamper proof bottles , or "unbreakable plastic"..
- we could open any kitchen cupboard , and drawer ...never heard of safety locks ..
- cycling was the favourite past time ..and no bullshit like helmets , elbow pads or knee pads....when thirsty , we drank "tap water" ..or even from handpumps ..never heard of package drinking or mineral water ..
- we used to collect all sort of things ...plastic bits , blades , practically anything that today's generation calls "trash" and insted of recycling , ..me made our toys with it ..played in the sand ..making our castle , troops , ..and god knows so many things from all those "trash"
- we used to roam fearlessly on our bikes (cycles)....and mind you , were fearless even if the brakes failed !!!
- we tried to show how tough we were , ...not by smoking cigarettes , drinks , or some tattoos , ....we had a simple way ,.. we used to climb on the trees ..reach the top , ..sit on the branches ....that was "cool " for us !!
we played for hours !! ...and got back home "before dark" .....
- we had no mobile phones , but still we managed to find our friends !! how ??? ..no one knows !!
- we had broken teeths , we got cuts , bruises , bloody nose , but still had a smile on our face ...coz it was not "someone's fault" ...we didnt blame others ..
- we ate everything in sight , ..cakes , chocolates , sweets , ..but still managed to stay skinny ...amazing isn't it ??
if any one of our frnds brought a cold-drink , .. we all took a sip ...and amazingly no one caught any germs !!
we never had
playstations, ipod , laptops, mp3, video games, home computers , cable tv , social networking ,
but
we had REAL FRIENDS!!!!
we even played among girls ......doctor-nurse , hide and seek , .. "nadi pahaad" ...we had freedom,disappointments, success, joy, victory , defeat, . ....
but most importantly,... we had RESPECT for each other !!
